Denis P. Cahalan

Denis joined O’Flynn Exhams in 1971 and has been a Partner since 1975. In July 2009, Denis retired as a Partner, however he continues to work with the firm as a Legal Consultant.

His areas of practice are in the Energy sector/Commercial Law and Commercial Property. He has extensive experience in these areas acting as an advisor on various contractual issues in relation to negotiating for purchase and sale of natural gas and drafting relevant contractual documentation.

He has also been involved in various areas of Commercial Law over the years including mergers, acquisitions and commercial property transactions. His experience includes sale and purchase of commercial properties, leasing, security documentation, rent review arbitration and associated issues.

He is a graduate of University College Cork where he was awarded a BCL and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1969.
