O’Flynn Exhams Partner contributes to special report on the New York Convention
The United Nations’ Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, known as the New York Convention, is the cornerstone of cross-border enforcement of arbitration awards. In recognition of the New York Convention’s 50th anniversary and its tremendous impact on international arbitration, Mealey’s International Arbitration Report has published the Mealey’s Executive Summary: The New York Convention — 50 Years of Experience. This special report is a collection of commentaries from international arbitration practitioners and arbitrators. O’Flynn Exhams Partner, John Gaffney, contributed a Commentary to the special report entitled, “The New York Convention: A Basis For The Enforcement By National Courts Of A Justiciable Liberty Of Decision Of The Arbitral Tribunal?”.
