O’Flynn Exhams’ sponsored Golf Classic nets One Million Euro for COPE Foundation.

In the fourteen years that O’Flynn Exhams have hosted the COPE Foundation Annual Golf Classic, over €1,000,000 in net funds has been raised for COPE Foundation. This remarkable achievement is largely due to the strong and consistent support of the Cork business community. The event takes place in Rathshallagh Golf Club over two days in August and is as social as it is competitive. Despite a very difficult economic climate, over 100 teams competed in this year’s event which comprised four separate competitions run over the two days with one overall winner, Team AXA Insurance (pictured). COPE Foundation caters for 1600 children and adults with intellectual disability at 60 locations throughout Cork city and county and employs over 700 staff. The ongoing support of the community and especially the corporate sector is essential for COPE Foundation to continue its capital development projects.
